POWDER COATING

We offer a powder coating service for cast iron, steel, aluminium extrusions and castings and we have the facility to apply any specification or colour, limited only by colours stocked.

Parts are prepared by blasting with fine cut glass to remove paint, laquer, corrosion and other contaminants.

Internal bearing housings and threads are blocked with bungs and external threads and bearing faces are covered with silicone caps. Other sensitive areas such as gasket faces and disk brake caliper mounting surfaces are carefully masked.

We typically apply powder coating to motorcycle frames, stands, brackets, engine covers, motorcycle wheels and car wheels (steel or alloy).

TWO-PACK SPRAY PAINTING

If you opt to have your component(s) two-pack spray painted the procedure before spraying is similar to that for powder coating.

The required paint is then mixed and applied to the components in an even coat which is left to cure.
